Since 1952, Il Bikini has developed its relationship with the sea and the surrounding territory through conscious decisions made with consistency over time. The organisation of spaces, the management of activities and the philosophy of the kitchen all follow a principle of respect for the natural setting and its limits. THE SEA

Preserving what should never be forced

The relationship with the sea is based on a principle of adaptation, not occupation. The structures overlooking the water are designed to be temporary and reversible, assembled and removed in harmony with the rhythm of the seasons. The beach is never permanently transformed or altered for functional needs. The management of the spaces takes into account the protection of local flora and fauna, limiting invasive interventions and preserving the natural balance of the area. The sea remains a living system, not a surface to be organised.
THE RESTAURANT

Coherence between land and cuisine

The cuisine of Il Bikini is based on a principle of genuine availability. Ingredients are selected according to the seasons and what the territory can naturally provide, without forcing the process or creating artificial continuity. The menu is built from what truly exists, not from what one might wish to impose. Quantities are measured, ingredients are valued in their entirety, and waste is reduced through careful control of every process. Celebrating without disturbing the balance

Weddings at Il Bikini are conceived as temporary projects, created with respect for the place that hosts them. The number of guests, the set-ups, the cuisine and the organisation are all considered in relation to the natural context and the seasons, avoiding unnecessary pressure and invasive interventions. Nothing is imposed on the space, nor made permanent. Every choice follows the same principles that guide the daily management of the venue: balance, care for resources and coherence between hospitality and environment. In this way, the celebration becomes part of a wider equilibrium, not an exception that interrupts it.
EVENTS

Welcoming in balance with what already exists

Events are conceived as moments of connection, integrated into the setting with care and awareness. Their design takes into account the space, the timing and the seasons, ensuring that every occasion remains proportionate and coherent with the identity of the place. Set-ups and organisation favour essential and reversible solutions, avoiding interventions that would permanently alter the existing balance. The property’s garden was created with this intention: to follow the seasons, respect the rhythms of the soil and work with what is truly available, without artificial acceleration. It is a concrete gesture that restores balance to the supply chain and responsibility to every decision. From this same principle grows a broader reflection looking toward the future. Il Bikini is exploring the idea of a sea garden as a space for study and experimentation: a project still in an observational phase, approaching marine self-production with caution, respect for natural balances and full awareness of the complexity of the environment.
